Ready to brush up?,

I was looking around for something to help me brush up on my American History, but didn't want a 1,000 page book that wasn't going to keep my interest. This book is a very easy read with bullet points, stories, and fun facts. I wish I had this book when I was in grammar school!
This book is a must read for anyone who wants to refresh their memory of American History. Plus its a fun book to read and you won't want to put it down. Even though you probably know the ending.

Much too politically slanted for me,

Well written and informative but with a heavy slant towards the liberal view. If you are a Bush Basher or an Obamamaniac, perhaps you will enjoy this. In my opinin, if this author can't be trusted to write accurately about today's events, I certainly did not trust him to be open minded about events long past. The fact that a book with such obvious bias towards any radical position is sold as History was very disheartening to me.

This was a fascinating read. it's full of good information and it's easy for everyone to understand. My wife got all the information she needed for her book from this one. I read it, too.

Biased viewpoint...,
By Willow (Cleveland, Ohio) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Complete Idiot's Guide to American History, 4E (Paperback)
I bought this book to brush up on some history facts. The book takes an interesting turn from Ronald Reagan to the present. Mr. Axelrod is very opinionated and lets it get in the way of his ability to write a book of facts. It was outrageous. This book is "The Liberal's Guide to American History." If you want the straight facts about American History....keep looking, this one isn't it.

Everything was perfect. Good service, good product. The book was in a very good condition, as they stated ("like new"), and the deliver date was on time.
