This book has a lot of great ideas of sexy ways to dress and act. If you need a boost in self-esteem, it helps a lot, with actual daily things to do to increase self-esteem. It worked for me. It has really good ideas on flirting and help on what to do when you want to attract someone. I liked that it talked about how to use different styles of being sexy (like very seductive, or more laid-back and mysterious). My favorite parts of the book told details of what types of sexy gifts to give, and where are good sexy places for dates to go. I have so many ideas now for good places to go on dates, and things like that. It is a really fun book with a lot to put to use. Even with actual stuff about HAVING sex, it has good ideas that most people will find give them something new.

This book has a lot of great information and advice, and provides some helpful insight into how to spice up your persona. I thought it was very well-written, and am looking forward to following up on some of the suggestions and comments. Highly recommended!!

I loved the fun ideas for how to make your love life more exciting and your sex life sexier. My roommate and I (we're both single women) got the book, and since we've redecorated our apartment to make it look sexier to guys who may come over, and we've gone shopping for sexier clothes all based on Ms. Locker's great advice about those things. She gave great tips for sexy music to buy, which is great, too! Plus, the stuff about self-esteem and body image is really good. Oh, yes, and the illustrations of those wild sex positions are something to see!

First, I would like to say that "The Complete Idiots Guide to Being Sexy" is much better than The Complete Idiots Guide to the Arts of Seduction. Get this Being Sexy book over that Art of Seduction book for sure. "The Complete Idiots Guide to Being Sexy" has seduction and flirting instruction that is very good, and is a whole lot more intricate than wine and flowers and eye contact. It is very detailed about seducing and flirting in specific techniques. It is worth it for this book even just for the body language chapter which is educational. Also, the chapters about celebrities and why they are sexy is very good and like nothing else I had read. The book tells specific ideas for dressing, dates, attitude. It has steps on getting over shyness. I was shy and I feel helped by this book.

The person who wrote a review here that this book does not give more than common sense info is WRONG. Obviously, that person did not read this book! This book goes so FAR BEYOND any type basic information. It is VERY GOOD! It gives the most creative ideas -- things I never had thought of, and I've thought a lot about sex and sexiness. This book even has a whole section about how to make sex sexier, and illustrations of sexual positions. It has all that in addition to details of sexy things like how to dress sexier, how to strip, sexy dates, even sexier kissing and oral sex ideas. Plus it has self esteem exercises that are just plain good and helpful. Very worth getting.

A basic book, with not a lot of information that I hadn't already heard. For a beginner, it's probably good. If you're older, chance are you've 'been there, done that'.

If you're looking for anything more than just common sense advice, look elsewhere. Here's every bit of advice this book has to offer: be confident, dress well, practice good hygiene, don't be rude and realize that everyone is sexy in someone's eyes. That's it. The book has nothing more to offer.

I purchased this book hoping to learn new, fresh and interesting twists to old ideas.
But I didn't learn much at all. It's all pretty basic stuff.
I suppose for a beginner or someone that needs an extra boost of confidence it may supply the needed guidelines.
Otherwise, look elsewhere.
