5.0 out of 5 stars It's hard being a teen
Unfortunately, it isn't always easy being a teenager -- especially a teen-age girl -- and friendships are often tricky, especially in the middle-school years. The authors of both books got my daughter -- and me! -- through some...

3.0 out of 5 stars Might be a good read for teens
I think this book was written for teens to read, not as a resource for parents. As the parent of a daughter who has problems making and maintaining friends, this book was not what I was looking for. I think this book was written for teens to read, not as a resource for parents. As the parent of a daughter who has problems making and maintaining friends, this book was not what I was looking for. It doesn't get into the skills needed to make friends, the "hows" of making friends, the body language, and the reasons a teen may have difficulty with friendship and what to do about it all. The book is very light, and optomistic and is written in language that teens will relate to. I think it would serve as a reminder of what friendship is all about to a teen going through a tough time, but not necessarily one with chronic problems.
