I bought this book and read it in about one week. Before I bought this book, I didn't understand anything about stocks, bonds, mutual funds, retirement savings, emergency funds, etc. This book has all that and way more. After finishing this book, I think I know more than my own father about investing. It is very easy to understand and extremely helpful. I am now ready to take on some much more dense reading on certian subjects of interest.

You can usually depend on the Complete Idiots or For Dummies series books to give you enough information to get you started on something. This book is no exception. I found some really good information in it, and it'll help you get started in the world of investing. I highly recommend it.

This book if full of useful information for the lack of knowledge beginner. It's just one of the books I use to understand investments.
