A Cat Primer-Plus
A gold mine of practical information--and a lot of fun stuff that I didn't know about cats. that makes good small-talk fodder when the issue of cats comes up--and knowing all this makes me evenmore glad that there's a fine cat in my life.

Nice but not complete
Although this book does contain some useful tips on cat care, I found that at least a third of the book was devoted to cat trivia and cute cat facts, including an entire chapter on famous cats through history. While these chapters are entertaining, I was looking for more basic information. The practical "how to" type information that I expected from a...

Although this book does contain some useful tips on cat care, I found that at least a third of the book was devoted to cat trivia and cute cat facts, including an entire chapter on famous cats through history. While these chapters are entertaining, I was looking for more basic information. The practical "how to" type information that I expected from a "complete guide" was far too brief and general.
