This is a great book that offers many different recipes for quinoa. I have tried many of them and they are great. I highly recommend this book to my clients that I work with.

The Complete Idiot's series has a winner with this latest treatise on the ancient Inca seed with a funny name - Quinoa, pronounced KEEN-Wah. Quinoa is probably one of the least discovered health foods of the century, but this book does a yeoman's job of helping to educate the home chef on this wonder food that's gluten-free, high in fiber and a very affordable ingredient that's becoming easier to find.
The editors called on two dozen celebrity chefs to contribute their favorite recipes featuring Quinoa which is a nice touch in this edition. Like all Idiot's Guides, the recipes cover a wide range of dining categories from breakfast through desserts and snacks and are easy to follow with pretty standard ingredient lists.

I had borrowed this book from the library and knew I had to have it. It's great for anyone new to Quinoa cooking. The recipes are easy to follow. They're not too "crunchy" either....there are recipes that also have meat, chicken and seafood.

I sent this back as soon as I looked through it. There wasn't a single recipe in this book that I wanted to cook.
