My hope for you as you read this book is that you will use this guide as your coach to lead you effectively through your trials and tribulations to recover completely from this crime. I will empower  you with the tools and knowhow to deal with virtually any type of identity theft. You'll restore your finances, discovery and avoid the hidden fraud attacks, rehabilitate your cyber, business, and medical identity, prevent criminal prosecution and deal effectively with the commercial and governmental bureaucracies.
You'll learn how to create an effective, logical, step-by-step process to successfully clear your name. I'll show you how to get organized and help you save time. Mari J. Frank is an attorney, Certified Information Privacy Professional and the creator of The Identity Theft Survival Kit, the audiocassette series Identity Theft Prevention and Survival, and author of From Victim to Victor: A Step by Step Guide for Ending the Nightmare of Identity Theft, Safeguard Your Identity: Protect yourself with a Personal Privacy Audit, and The Complete Idiot Guide To Recovering From Identity Theft (released May, 2010). Mari hosts Privacy Piracy, a weekly one-hour public affairs radio show dedicated to privacy issues airing at KUCI 88.9 FM and www.kuci.org/privacypiracy. Her show received an innovation award by the International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2005.

Ms. Frank has testified many times on privacy issues in the California legislature and before the U.S. Congress. In May 1999, she was summoned to the White House to a press conference with President Clinton to speak on Consumer Privacy. Her speech was broadcast on C-SPAN TV. This book provides a very thorough step by step guide on how to reclaim your identity and ensure you will not be vicitimized again. Considering 1 of 4 people will be identity victims, this book is a must have for everyone as a reference guide! This book also includes great tips on how everyone should protect themselves. I highly recommend this book!

Mari Frank's new book is a must read for everybody. Identity theft is a real problem and Mari covers the subject from A to Z in this book. It's a must-read for individuals as well as anybody who is in business or has any responsibility what so ever for retaining or sharing personal information. I highly recommend the book.

In only 250 pages, Mari Frank demystifies the processes for Identity Theft recovery. Covering newer topics such as Medical Identity Theft and the Child Identity Theft the book covers almost every possible scenario that can happen to an individual and how to recovery from it. Not all the steps that you must go through to recover your identity are easy, but with the Idiot's Guide to Recovering from Identity Theft at your side, you will get there!
