5.0 out of 5 stars Packed With Info!!, July 26, 1999
By A Customer
This book should be titled "Total Guide to Nutrition AND Fitness". Ms. Bauer does a great job of explaining nutrition and it's role in maintaining one's health. She also covers exercise, pregnancy, eating disorders, and dieting. Quite a complete book. Don't let the "Idiot's" title fool you--this book goes into detail with many topics and serves as much more than just an intro. Bravo Ms. Bauer!

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the first, August 11, 1999
By A Customer
Not only does it come across clearly and easy to understand. It is well written covering nutrition for infants to elderly people for lazy people to physically active people. She lays it all out on a silver platter.

Another masterpiece by the best nutritionist.

Buy it or you will be missing out.

5.0 out of 5 stars A really good 101 book - has depth and is easy to "digest", March 29, 2008
By
This review is from: The Complete Idiot's Guide to Total Nutrition (3rd Edition) (Paperback)
I'm a professional, but frankly never learned good fundamentals of nutrition. This book really lays out the basics, including all the compounds that nourish our bodies. I was definitely empowered to change my eating habits, understand why some foods are good and bad, and dig down to the next level of detail. This is a great book in the "Idiot's" series and I would say this is a good book to have around your bookshelf.
