I like that this book, while admitting that it's hard to be current with technology and software for improving Twitter Marketing, was up to date and very easy to understand. They even encouraged the reader to explore the newest and latest updates through search engines. Nice guide for a large or small company wanting to do it right.

Ah yes, another book on internet marketing. As a social media professional, I've thumbed through dozens in my day. However, this one is different- the authors made it fun!

Brought to you buy a Silicon Alley social media strategist and community manager (Petersel) and tech writer (Schindler), this book is chuck full of insight, pictures, fun examples, and the most important piece- getting right down to maximizing your social presence in a business sense. Sure, we understand how to use Twitter to communicate with friends, but how exactly do we get the message across to our target audience?

The book shows personality, as do their own Twitter accounts (@Brett and @EstherSchindler). The authors use their own Twitter experiences, techniques and preferences (which often differ) to give you ideas to best sell yourself, products and services to your followers. The Complete Idiot's Guide to Twitter Marketing is a must-read for not only those just breaking into the world of Tweets, but also for anyone looking to gain valuable insight from two trusted sources.

It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that using Twitter to promote your company is easy. Technically, typing 140 characters *is* easy. In reality, you can do far more damage to your company's image and reputation with Twitter if you don't think things through and understand how Twitter functions. Esther Schindler and Brett Petersel do an excellent job of covering that topic in their book The Complete Idiot's Guide to Twitter Marketing. From a corporate or organizational angle, you really shouldn't start your Twitter marketing program without reading this book.

As a college student who wants to take business as major, I would like to highly recommend you to read this book---Twitter Marketing. This is a very interesting book. I have never read a book like this one before. This book lets us learn how to sale your products and services in Twitter. I believe that most of us have the experience of communicating with your friends in Twitter. Therefore, we often consider it as a social networking tool. However, this book will tell you that Twitter is a very valuable business tool if you can use it in a proper way. Twitter is more than a way to describe about your products and services; it creates opportunities for organization to reach current and potential customers. It also helps organizations to find out about consumer trends and some meaningful ways. This is a low-cost and effective way to learn about what the customers want and their feedback. The obvious advantage of this business tool is that it doesn't matter whether you have a very small business or you have a big company; everyone can participate in it.
This book includes five parts. The first part is about "The big Picture of Twitter Marketing" that tells reader how to recognize Twitter as a business tool and what the Twitter can bring to business. Moreover, it talks about the benefits and the pitfalls of Twitter marketing. The second part is called "Getting stared" that explains how to set up your business in Twitter step by step. Also, it teaches us how to recognize Tweet and how to use Tweet in a right way for your business. The third part is "Twitter Marketing Campaigns" that teaches you how to design a successful Twitter campaign. I would like to say that this part is very important in this book because it teaches you how to plan your own marketing strategy.
