4.0 out of 5 stars Useful for beginners, August 12, 2001

This review is from: Complete Idiot's Guide to Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional (Complete Idiot's Guide) (Paperback)
Paul McFedries' Complete Idiot's Guide to Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional is a useful resource for Win 2000 beginners as well as those of us who need short, sharp answers to everyday Win 2000 problems and tasks. I used the Guide to set up a simple network at home in less than an hour - a much less painful experience than using the Windows "Help" content.

It's certainly not as comprehensive as something like Kathy Ivens' Windows 2000: The Complete Reference, but it never sets out to be.
