The beauty of this book is twofold: it presents information in small chunks and includes lovely graphics. Some astrology books contain little imagery beyond illustrations of charts, houses and the like...and the text gets a bit dry. This book breathes life into a complex subject with lively text and vivid imagery. It's a great study aid, because the reader can focus on one topic (usually 2-3 pages) and let that sink in before moving on.

This book has pretty pictures, and a lot of useful illustrations, but the wording is for serious beginners. A couple of topics covered in this are also debatable, but overall it is a great book for enhancing understanding of astrology, although if you plan to seriously study this topic, I would suggest this as a beginner book only, and use it as a reference only if you find other books that agree with it.
