I thought this book was very informative, and well illustrated. I think that anyone that is thinking about getting a cat or even anyone that has one already will find this helpful. I needed information about kittens, and found this book the best information on the subject, but it doesn't stop there.

This is the best cat care book i have ever read it really helped me with the deliver of my cats kittens and then the after care of them. It also halped me train my cat not to do cetain things like scratching the carpet and couch....you should get this if you have acat it really helps alot.......

Having done research in the health care sector for years, and because I own 6 cats--three male and three female--I wanted a quick reference guide to determine for myself if any symptoms experienced by my cats might require more care by a licensed veterinarian. This book provides excellent summary descriptions of both medical and behavioral issues for most cat owners, including those who work in veterinary clinics, like vet techs, who need a cat care bible to help them begin the diagnostic process, narrowing down likely causes so the veterinarian can spend more time on possible corrective action for his or her patients. This book has more of the illustations and descriptions of likely health care problems than similar books, and does so for each part of the feline anatomy. I highly recommend this cat care encyclopedia for veterinary clinics as an additional feline reference guide, and for cat owners as well.
