Fine Print magazine was first published in 1975 as an eight-page Newsletter for the Arts of the Book. Its initial purpose was to present bibliographic descriptions of fine letterpress books along with articles on bookbinding, papermaking, and calligraphy.
Over the years, the magazine developed as one of the premiere publications among fine press printers and people interested in the Book Arts.
Many outstanding writers and scholars contributed articles and illustrations. This long-awaited name and subject index edition is the final issue of Fine Print, volume 16, number 4. Co-published with Pro Arte Libri.
