This is a helpful resource when planning and constructing your irrigation projects ranging from drip, microsprayers, to impulse sprinkler use. Handy formulas help determine watering needs, especially for those who have been so blessed to have water meters. I am fortunate to still have use of a well so I do not face metering cost issues, only electricity usage. Great reference for the do-it-yourself individuals and those who are hiring contractors and want to know what they are trying to tell you before the job begins. Better to have a little knowledge than none at all when dealing with contractors or vendors who will sell you anything, if you are not well-informed. Have fun and enjoy your ornamental and edible landscapes!

With the title "The Complete Irrigation Workbook," I thought I was getting a book that would educate me about designing irrigation for gardens, pastures, orchards and similar uses of water and land. This is a very comprehensive book -- if you're trying to keep a golf course evenly watered. The book is limited to lawns and the considerations that are important to keeping expanses of lawn properly irrigated. It looks like a great resource if that's your interest. Nothing in the book's description indicated the limited focus of this book.
