This book is amazing! It has worksheets and tables, all of which anyone who is getting married will need.

This book has exactly 17 pages of substance, and the rest (literally ALL the rest) is tables for the reader to fill out to keep track of costs and guests and such. I am frankly stunned at the discrepancy between what I received and the enthusiastic comments here (which were the basis for my purchase.) Do you not have a spreadsheet program? Do you not know where to buy a spiral notebook? Then maybe you need this endless collection of blanks to be filled in. (For instance, pp. 120-158 is nothing but blank lines for you to fill in with your various guest lists.) It's kind of insulting.

Save your money. Or send me $20 and I'll send you a spiral notebook, it'll serve you just as well. Oh and while you're at it, buy a copy of Anita Diamant's "The New Jewish Wedding", which will actually tell you what a Jewish wedding entails and how to put it together.

This was the most helpful book I have found on the market! I just followed along on the planning checklist and did all of my comparison shopping right in the book. The author thought of many details to prevent problems. I love how easy it was to plan our whole wedding!

This book was my best friend while I was planning my traditional Jewish wedding and alleviated a lot of the stress. It is extremely detailed, so to prevent being overwhelmed I recommend that you sit down with your partner first and go through the book with a red pen and eliminate all of the details that you do not want to include in your wedding. It is the best engagement gift I could have bought for myself!

Plenty of lists for every detail with enough room to write all the information. It was very helpful throughout the planning process. I recommend it to anyone who is planning a wedding! I'm going to tell all of my friends.
