Sound advice for people with adrenal fatigue,

This review is from: A Complete Look at Adrenal Fatigue (Kindle Edition)
I enjoyed the ebook and I think the advice about getting cortisol drugs only if really needed was offered in a balanced way.

Warning: This e-book has a strong anti-cortisol message, that is not backed up with evidence. If you suffer from adrenal fatigue and are obtaining relief with low doses of hydrocortisone, stick to books by people with experience in this treatment who find it to be safe and helpful: "From Fatigued to Fantastic," by Teitelbaum and "Fat, Fuzzy, or Frazzled," by the Shames. Even "Adrenal Fatigue," by Wilson will admit that low-dose hydrocortisone therapy (in conjunction with adrenal extracts) can be very helpful for people with severe adrenal fatigue.
On the plus side, I liked the connections this author made between post-traumatic stress disorder, early childhood trauma, and adrenal fatigue. |
