I've gone through lots and lots of makeup books and this one actually goes into more detail about skincare and application than a lot of the other books. I was pleasantly surprised since it's so inexpensive. I hate when I get a makeup book in the mail and there's not as much information as expected. It's not for 'experts' who already know everything, but I consider myself pretty informed and there was a lot covered in this book that I hadn't read elsewhere.
