The mini tank electroblotting system is designed to provide uniform, reproducible protein transfers over a wide molecular weight range. Tank style blotting is highly efficient. Rapid, efficient transfers of up to four polyacrylamide mini protein gels are possible simultaneously. The integrated cooling base allows temperature-controlled runs. Stir bars may be added to the bottom of the buffer chamber to allow for increased buffer circulation and heat exchange. The complete mini tank system includes a buffer chamber with platinum wire electrode panels and cooling base; safety interlocking lid with attached power supply leads; four blotting cassettes with foam pads; 16 sheets of 9Wx9Lcm (31/2x31/2") blotting filter paper; and four blotting cassette clips. The large tank electroblotting system is designed to provide uniform, reproducible protein transfers for larger sized gels or for multiple mini gels. This system provides rapid, efficient transfers of polyacrylamide protein gels. A removable cooling block allows for efficient heat transfer. Stir bars may be added to the bottom of the buffer chamber to circulate buffer and provide consistent cooling. The cassettes are coded to ensure proper anode/cathode orientation. The cassettes are designed to allow for easy loading of the gel sandwich and lock securely for loading into the buffer chamber. These features make this the preferred system for large gel blots. The complete large tank system includes a buffer chamber with stainless steel cathode plate and titanium anode plate; safety interlocking lid with attached power supply leads and cooling module; two blotting cassettes with foam pads; and 25 sheets of 20Wx18.5Lcm (77/8x75/16") blotting filter paper.
