Good comprehensive work,

This review is from: The Complete Najdorf: Modern Lines: The Definitive Guide to Fischer and Kasparov's Favorite Chess Opening (Batsford Chess Opening Guides) (Paperback)
Have been waiting for this to come out ever since I got the first volume, and it does not disappoint. Timely and topical, for example, devoting a chapter to Kasparov's favored 6. Be3 Ng4 line which was so effective at Linares 1999. This book was primarily authored by Gallagher, and I like his work very much.

This review is from: The Complete Najdorf: Modern Lines: The Definitive Guide to Fischer and Kasparov's Favorite Chess Opening (Batsford Chess Opening Guides) (Paperback)
This book covers the lines other than 6. Bg5 with remarkable research without being completely limited to what has been played OTB. Time and again the authors aren't afraid of making honest judgments on a line, whether or not scored well in a game, and offer new and interesting sidelines for both Black and White.
