The list author says: "When I bought my first DSLR camera I realized that good photography was not just a matter of having a good camera body but many other things including right lenses, tripod body and head, lighting arrangement (or at least a good speed light), filters and much more. A well-taken photograph is therefore an outcome all these factors and of course your artistic mind. And as I graduated from a basic DSLR Nikon D200 to the professional Nikon D3S I must have bought, returned and sold many components of my gear until i settled for what i consider as a 'complete and satisfactory' gear for my D3S. Take a look at what I have in my camera bag. If you are interested in seeing some of my pics please browse Nikon D3S listing customer images"
"this is a very good 180-degree wide angle lens for DX cameras. it was a 'left over 'from my previous nikon d200 gear. i used this lens on my new D3S and got excellent results. since D3S is an FX cam so the crop factor took away some of its angle width but is barely noticeable. so i will keep it in my new gear."
"very sturdy tripod.it has a pan head byt cannot be used smoothly to pan while shooting HD videos. Manfrotto will be your best buy. it has a fluid head ultimate for panning. but if you are shooting outdoor still pics then this tripod is your best friend because it is very sturdy and heavy and wont fall off easily by wind etc. i will keep both in my collection."
