A beautiful collection of some classic works,
By
This review is from: The Complete Novels (Hardcover)
If you like Pride & Prejudice, or any of Jane Austen's works - I highly recommend the Bronte Sisters. This collection is beautifully printed with a selection of some of the Bronte Sisters' finest works. Jane Eyre, the first book in the collection, is quite possibly my favorite classic book. These amazing writers had such a talent for story telling.
If you are, however, a light reader who is deterred by larger, more uncommon words and older phraseology, as well as paragraphs of vivid description - you might want to look for something a little more modern and frothy. These being classic novels they do read quite a bit differently than what is currently popular in writing circles today. All in all - this is one beautiful and well made book, from the writing to the printing and binding.
