About the Actor
Renowned 8th Degree Black Belt Karate Master Kim Murray is one of the World’s leading authorities on the Okinawan art of Isshin Ryu Karate. With over 25 years experience Shihan Murray has studied Isshin Ryu extensively in Okinawa under Renowned Isshin Ryu Master Angi Uezu the number one student of Isshin Ryu Karate founder Tatsuo Shimmabuku. As a competitor Master Murray has competed in Okinawa and US tournaments in forms and fighting competition where he has achieved victory numerous times against the World’s best. For over 20 years Master Murray has owned and operated the highly successful Murray Martial Arts Centers in upstate Rochester, New York where he has an active enrollment of over 1000 students. Besides his popular schools since 1983 Master Murray has been director of the Rochester Institute of Technology’s College Martial Arts curriculum and its chief Karate Instructor.
