About the Author

Teddy Lenderman has been a professional wedding consultant for almost 20 years. Through Indiana State University she teaches classes for brides, grooms, and their families on planning weddings, and seminars for wedding vendors on how to improve their businesses. bought this for my recent wedding. I planned everything myself. This was one of a few books I purchased and it was overall a good book, but most of the information was stuff that I already knew. Planning a wedding on your own is entirely possible and this book helps, but is not the best out there.

I did enjoy this book and it has good information, but so much of the books space is taken up by the pictures. A lot of the book is just pictures. I found lots of the information to be common sense when planning a wedding but some things like invitation wording was helpful. This definately isn't a book for you brides who want something with EVERYTHING you could want to know about planning a weeding. If you really want to get money saving tips and advice, try Bridal Bargains or The Wedding Book which both have a surplus of info for the money.

Although the title seems funny, this book really has at least so far been a huge help with planning my wedding.
