Overall a good book...
bought this for my recent wedding. I planned everything myself. This was one of a few books I purchased and it was overall a good book, but most of the information was stuff that I already knew. Planning a wedding on your own is entirely possible and this book helps, but is not the best out there.

Good overall but not for detailed brides
I did enjoy this book and it has good information, but so much of the books space is taken up by the pictures. A lot of the book is just pictures. I found lots of the information to be common sense when planning a wedding but some things like invitation wording was helpful. This definately isn't a book for you brides who want something with EVERYTHING you could want to...

If you really want to get money saving tips and advice, try Bridal Bargains or The Wedding Book which both have a surplus of info for the money.

If you have enough savvy to put together events of any kind, then you don't need a "wedding planning course." You just need this phenomenal book!!!
