If you have a bit of sewing under your belt and are familiar with basic sewing vocabulary, this book is easy to follow. The photos are excellent and make helpful guides.

Each chapter has a section on what you'll need (supplies), what you'll need to know, fitting the pattern, cutting directions, and sewing instructions.

If you're at all comfortable with a sewing machine, you'll have your tired furniture covered and looking like new in no time.

If you have pets, kids, or high use of you furniture this is an excellent book to hekp you keep your furniture in great shape.
I found this to be an excellent book for the individual with moderate sewing skills, it appears to be a bit more difficult for the novice, athough not impossible it is just a higher level than the novice usually is comfortable with.
However if you have the appropraite skill set this is an excellent book, the instructions and patterns are straight forward and with a bit of dilligence you can have a very nice slipcover within half a day.

I ordered this book and another (Custom Slipcovers Made Easy) from Amazon.

This book is very good and I would have given it five stars if I hadn't seen CSME. While I will use CSME mostly, this book has some different tips/information in it. I am happy to keep it for reference.

If I were going for just one book, I would choose Custom Slipcovers Made Easy. I reviewed that one also if you want to check it out.

I had two upholstered chairs that desperately needed slipcovers. This book was great. I finished the slipcovers and they look professionally made. I would highly recommend this book.

Good instructions, lots of photos. Can't wait to try my own project! Probably not the most thorough book on the subject, but has good information for beginners and crafters.
