I recently bought a new house with very large windows. I can't find store bought curtains, so I'm going to have to create my own designs. This book gave me several ideas that are new and unique -- things I'd never thought of. There are pages and pages of color photos to inspire you. Unfortunately, this is not a "how to" book but an idea book. Now, I have to figure out how to sew what I like!

I am a novice sewing who was looking for good basic instruction. I found the pictures and instructions in the this book very helpful for creating easy, professional looking draperies and valances.

This book is completely awesome. I don't need to purchase any other reference materials for ideas on how to do my windows. Love it, love it, love it!!!!

Great book for someone seeking to make designer quality drapes at home with intermediate sewing skills. I was tired of the thin, cheap looking drapes for sale at home stores. This book plus some fabulous fabrics was the answer.

The photos are superb, no doubt about it. To me the pictures that sometimes went with the instructions were not enough. I felt that if there were step by step sketches or pictures to the instructions, it would have gotten an excellent rating from me. Overall, I still would give the book 5 stars.

If you want to see step by step illustration, this book is NOT for you. There are nice examples of window treatment but there is no enough illustration for the parts that you really need to see how to do. Honestly it didint fill my needs, i need to check out another book

This book is very easy to understand how to do complicated window treatments. It has beautiful pictures of unique window treatments. It's a great book at a great price.

Everything you need to know to make your own window treatments at home! The photographs are beautiful and include helpful explanations of what the style is called and give some basic variations on the theme. Then it tells you how to measure, select fabric for and create the style for your own windows. Definitely a keeper!

Yes this book is helpful in the practical application of curtains. Contains lots of helpful tips for installation. The photographs show very neat work, with is inspiration to create perfectly neat and accurate treatments
