As a beginner at Home canning I purchased this book as a guide to find other methods and recipes. I was delighted to find it full of good advice, clear instructions and fantastic recipes.

Had this book on my amazon wish list for many months, I actually came acrossed it at a book fair and had to buy it! Very thick book must have any canning recipe known. Recommend for those ready to do some serious canning ;)

Good explanation of home canning basics,
although not at the beginning. The 400 recipes are diverse and representative and are easily modified. Some excellent color photography to stimulate your creativity and appetite. This book and my Presto instruction manual are all the literature I need for self-taught home canning. |
