An excellent tool for managed care treatment planning,
By Ellen Silver silver-steinberg@juno.com (Buffalo, New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Complete Psychotherapy Treatment Planner (Series in Clinical Psychology and Personality) (Paperback)
I have found this book to be an excellent companion when doing case reviews with managed care companies. As many in the field know; providing clear, concise and measurable short-term goals are the key to getting our patient's treatment authorized. This book will give you all the correct buzz words you need and cut down on the time taken on the phone with these companies.

This is a great book for help in writing treatment plans. The book is vauge, however, in that in clumps together a variety of disorders for one specific treatment. Nonetheless this is a great book. You won't regret the 40 bucks you spend on it...It's invaluable

This book makes my job easy. I remembered it from my college days and when I returned back to clinical work..I was overwhelmed by the amount of treatment plans I needed to complete in such a short amount of time. However, with the The Complete Psychotherapy Treatment Planner my worries are gone.

Good for the technical information,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Complete Psychotherapy Treatment Planner (Series in Clinical Psychology and Personality) (Paperback)
This book is good in reviewing the technical aspects of creating treatment plans and developing diagnoses. For a book about the art of listening in psychotherapy, read Inside Therapy, for which Irvin Yalom contributes a foreword and discusses the concept of creating "a new therapy for each patient."
