Pulled into a K-Mart on southside of Fort Wayne, IN with this CD playing.
Blacks in car next to me asked "Who IS that? CrudUp? Never heard of him!"
Told them I used to listen to him BEFORE there was Rock N Roll. We had a
mini-party right there in K-Marts parking lot listening to Crudups best songs [She ain't nothin' but trouble][Oo-Wee Darling][My baby left me]

ELVIS wrote about Crudup-"Used to listen to Arthur down in Tupelo, MS
He'd bang his box, like I do now, and I knew IF I could ever get to the PLACE Crudup's at and FEEL my music like he does, then I'd be a Music
Man like the World never saw."
