Volume 2 in Documen's Clara Smith series is the most recommended in the series the backup musicians are spectacular. This particular release has more jazz then blues, and Clara Smith had one of the most beautiful voices of all the blues shouters. Her style was more calm, and her voice is clear and understanable. One of the best singers weather singing blues or jazz standards of the 20's.. . Highly recommended to jazz and blues collectors as well as the novicec.
