Quite simply the best book on real coaching, as opposed to training,of rowing. Steve understands the way people learn to row in a way nobody else has begun to grasp. It is, in short a bible. At first sight his writings look completely out of date. But like the insights of Shakespeare you quickly realise that genius never dates. No coach should be without a copy: as Steve himself insists it should be read every day!
