Words cant even explain how much I loved this trilogy. I am not a read freak, but this trilogy made me go wild. I read the first one just because it sounded catchy, and ended up reading the trilogy in 2 weeks! I can assure you, you wont regret them. Jenny Han creates a fascinating trilogy about this girl, you'll just wish with all your heart you were her. It creates a romance, love triangle, story you definitely will fall in love with. Its just so different and UNIQUE from the others, its not the typical love story all the movies or books show. 5 Stars ABSOLUTELY!!!

This series had it all. It has a coming of age feel while still dealing with death and life altering decisions. It was a sweet and heartfelt story. I would definitely suggest it to anyone for a good beach read.

Well, how can i start this off...i was sixteen when i read this book and let me tell you that i absolutely hated the teenager in this book. Seriously, i thought there was going to be more depth to the story but it all is based on the selfishness of the main character and i could absolutely not believe what i was reading about the the two brothers, i read the whole book in less than four days waiting for something good to come up in the end but i was disappointed every time i finished reading a chapter, perhaps that was its purpose, but i didn't like the fact that everything was so superficial and really never analyzed any situation in a beautiful way as i was expecting, such a waste of time and cannot believe i put this book over the ones i had to read for my honors class during my senior year of high school....ah, could have been better, just a quick question for anyone out there who has read both, this book and To All Boys I've Loved Before, is the latter a better book than this, will it provide me with some good insight to something more complicated or is it the same format at this book, too straightforward and fantastical?

RECOMMENDATION: I ordered this online long before it came out in this 3-in-1 set. However, I will say that I saw this at my city's walmart and if was only $10.99 for the trilogy, so I'd recommend (if possible) picking it up at walmart on your next stop there.

Now to the actual review.

I started book one at the beginning of last summer and finished it in less than 2 days, which is rare for me. I immediately ordered book two and three from amazon.com. I was captivated by this love story with a twisted tragedy (no spoilers!!) and it is a great book, especially for young adults/teens. It's about a girl who's mother is friends with the mother of two boys. Every summer belly and her mom travel to the beach house to stay with susanna and her boys (conrad and jeremiah) conrad is more of a withdrawn, "cool/tough" guy, while jeremiah is more emotional and friendly. One summer Belly notices the boys are acting more interested in her (Thus the title, the summer i turned pretty). A tragedy occurs at the beginning of the second book or at the end of the first ( I cannot remember which--rereading after i finish TFIOS ) and it changes their lives pretty dramatically forever. Definitely worth reading!
