If you collect cameras and are interested in Rolleiflex twin lens reflex cameras, then this is an excellent title to buy. Along with its sister book (Complete Collector's Guide to the Rollei Tlr: Listing All Known Rollei Tlr Cameras 1928-1994) these titles give a good background in Rollei history and technique.
Franke & Heidecke popularized the twin lens reflex format in the late 1920s and became THE twin lens reflex manufacturer (copied but arguably never equaled by dozens of other companies). This book tells the history of the line, reproduces user instructions, and even tells what all of the (often confusing) accessories are for.
Great illustrations, tons of information, great value for the money. To get more information you have to be able to read German (i.e. the Rollei Reports by Claus Prochnow).
Highly recommended.

A lot of material gets covered here but not in a logical manner. Often subjects are discussed but not concluded. This is a user's manual not an essay on domestic policy. As a new comer to the world of TLR's I find that this book has some value as an addition to the actual Rollei manual but I wouldn't rely on it exclusively. I have a couple of other books from this publisher and they're much more coherent. Parker's Collector's Guide is a better book but has similar shortcomings.

Parker's guide is well done, comprehensive and up to date. If you're into Rollei TLRs, and it seems that they're having a revived interest, this book may be the best, or for many, the only game in town.
