About the Author
Over the course of the last three decades, boatwright Don Danenberg has earned a reputation as one of the United States’ foremost experts in the art of restoring wooden hulls to their former beauty and usefulness. An active member of the Antique and Classic Boat Society and a frequent contributor to Classic Boating magazine, Danenberg is also the owner of Danenberg Boatworks in Manistee, Michigan.

Nice but not a complete how to book,

Not a complete how to book but gets you thinking before you tear into it. Gets you think about how the shop might tear into it. When it comes to anything past the wood work - you need another book or two.
With that said... the wood working part will give you the information to know what is going on with your boat and IF you can handle the work yourself. That is the value of the book. I do not think any one book can cover it all and this is the base of the library for the wooden boater.
