This book has an easy to read print and gives helpful detailed (in layman's terms) explanations of words that many other books lack. It has two parts, a dictionary and a concordance which are both coded to the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance (KJV) system.

That may sound complicated, but it is SO WORTH the digging.

If you get this book, you still need the Strong's and a KJV Bible to refer to... the shovels needed to get to the gold.

P.S.No trouble with highlighting the pages from 2003 edition.

This book is a must for anyone, not just ministers, seeking to completely understand the scriptures and the original intent behind them. With the Hebrew text in the coloumns this is a perfect study guide. Also includes Strongs reference numbers, a lexial aide and definitions to some of the words. Perfect by itself, and enhanced that much more with a Strongs, as they are made to work hand in hand.

This work has been a great help to me and I am very thankful for it. It is very easy to use.

The publisher seems to have done an excellent job as far as appearance. The clarity of type, etc., is excellent. However, if you use an Accent style bible highlighter, it smears and smudges really bad, especially in areas where the type is bolder or closer together (like in some of the back reference sections). This may be the case (likely is considering the general smudginess of the print) for other highlighters as well but I haven't tried them.

It's like the ink never fully dries. Even if you just rub it with a slighly moist (pretty much like normal if you're holding a pen or moving around at all) finger, it smudges very easily.

So although this is an incredibly helpful and excellent work overall, this one defect is frustrating to me. Perhaps other editions don't have this defect but you might want to give it a little smudge-test in the store before buying it anywhere.

This book was obtained at a great price. It has each word of the OT marked and coded with a Strong's number to help look up the meaning of the word. I contains a list of the Strong's number and the meaning of the words. It also tells you the stem of the word in Hebrew which makes the passage clearer. Great for a serious Bible student who does or does not know Biblical Hebrew.

I am really glad I bought this product. I enjoy having the OT text right there with the Strongs number above the text. I am enjoying the Lexical aid and the actual Hebrew dictionary, as well. I generally going to the Hebrew dictionary first and then see if there is anything that adds to the definition in the Lexical aid. Only downside so far is there have been some minor words are not listed in this version's Lexical aid (a majority of the words do include a Lexical aid entry). It would just have been nice to have a secondary definition/commentary on all words.

Bible design leaves much to be desired for English translations. This volume separates the record of Hebrew Scripture into understandable terms and context like no other book I know of. It is truly a life-long research guide into and for Creator's recorded communication for Man to understand Life and Reality.

Many with deep knowledge and lifetimes of research into Hebrew Scripture records and how they were first recorded and what they were meant to do in the time and place the recorder lived make this compendium a must read for any humble-minded Truth seeker.

I know of little else in human history with the same effectiveness to guide one into Life long peace like this volume can.. It uses a reliable Bible translation as a foundation for the "house" that is designed and built upon it by many renowned minds. The information this presents forms a reliable guide the student can build a successful life on while providing researchable leads to source material gathered over the 3500 years of Hebrew Scripture existence and human experience with.

Words fail to point out all the benefits contained for all who take time to carefully study and apply what this single volume contains.

You cannot imagine how understanding the Hebrew has changed my life, and empowered me to know what, and how supreme Life is. Combined with the New Testament Word Study, this will enable you to see into the Spiritual domain, and enthrall endlessly at the genius and pre-meditation of YHVH's relished Infinite meaning(s) of His name(s), passions and intense paradigms; making His own self-Existent and Eternal Expression personal to you.

I absolutely find these books (I bought the whole set of OT and NT-4 books in all) invaluable when doing word studies. I'm not particularly happy about using KJV but I notice that my NKJV Bible has corrected most of the problems already and now I'm getting a deeper understanding of what the words I question mean and how they are used. I am more than happy with all 4 books. They are an invaluable study tool for the average person without the knowledge of the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek languages.
