GREAT Ideas - categorized wrong above
This book is not for baby-preschool as it is categorized .... A great collection of writing activities for students ages 8-13!!The author takes you through the entire writing process with selectedtopics that children find engaging. I taught elementary school for 10years as used all of this author's books!

less than thrilled
As competent as this book's author may be the quality of print REALLY lets it down. I find the font bold but blurry and it makes reading the book arduous. I was also hoping for a broader range of writing genres as this book, which is aiming to inspire, had one flick through and is now consigned to the pile of seldom used resources.

I tutor middle school kids in language arts and bought this hoping it would be something I could use with them. While it did focus on important writing skills, the ideas and the pictures were a little hard for my kids to relate to. They seemed like something out of the 1930's or 40's. I did use one or two of the lessons, but didn't use it beyond that.
