Faithful renderings by the original authors of a consistently funny and even educational series. Those who strongly enjoy reading might even start here, then try the DVD TV series.
The "fill" to bridge the original dialog is never particularly new or insightful, but on the other hand, unlike so many transcriptions of movie and TV scripts, it doesn't adversely affect the presentation. There is some humor here for a wide range of tastes. Very highly recommended.

Written by the scriptwriters for the (also brilliant) TV show, Yes Prime Minister is among the most delightful works of satire in English. Each chapter closely follows the thread of an episode and conveys it with the same delicious sense of irony. The chapters are a little more expansive than the television episodes, occasionally excerpting the memoirs of the main characters and reproducing memos (recently released under the freedom of information act) sent between offices.
