4.0 out of 5 stars Great book
Ive read all books by Sheridan Smythe and the more she publishes, the better they get. Each succesive book is better then the last one and they are all good. In this book, we get a look back at Mr. Complete where this book is off of. One of my favorite characters is the secretary. Love her. I liked this story. It was fun. When you take twin brothers who look like Dillon and Wyatt Love, you know you're in for trouble, unless you don't know that there are twins. When her escort from Mr. Complete shows up, Callie Spencer does not have a clue as to what lies ahead of her. Dillon sets her heart racing, but he's almost too much for her. 4.0 out of 5 stars wild romantic romp, April 27, 2005
This review is from: Completely Yours (Mass Market Paperback)
Fontaine Spencer owns Next Stop, a travel magazine that reviews restaurants, hotels, and other entertainment centers so tourists know the best, the worst, and the ugly. Someone from within the magazine warned Dallas businesses that Fontaine was coming; this cost her the ability to obtain unbiased insight. Thus she needs a decoy for Atlanta to prevent déjà vu, so that she can serendipitously do her job and uncover who is selling information. She asks her twin sister Callie to pose as her. Fontaine arranges for Mr. Complete to escort her sibling around town.

Nightclub owner Dillon Love is keeping an eye on his friend's escort service while his friend is away on vacation. Dillon is irate with Night Stop for a blistering review of his nightclub. He decides to escort Callie to teach her a lesson avenging her bad comments about his establishment. However, he soon finds he wants her to give him positive reviews to a lifetime plan, but fears how she will react to his duplicity; she on the other hand cannot understand why she feels in love with him one moment and aloof the next. Unbeknownst to Callie, Dillon's ruse includes his identical twin Wyatt.

Twins switching places has been done seemingly forever, but Sheridon Smythe refreshes the technique by having two pair exchange places leading to a wild romantic romp that works because the audience can still "see" who is who while ironically the players misunderstand what is going on. Readers will find the exchanges intelligent while the twins switch so that actions and reactions differ and confuse the participants. Fans of amusing contemporaries will enjoy this tale of mischievous twins and its humorous gender war predecessor MR. COMPLETE.

If you like hilarious stories with identical twins, a little bit of intrigue, a whole lot of steamy sexual tension, and undeniable romance, then COMPLETELY YOURS is a book not to be missed. A stand-alone follow-up to Ms. Smythe's Mr. Complete, COMPLETELY YOURS will have you laughing so hard you're crying one minute, and groaning aloud at the sexual tension the next. Believe me, you definitely want to pick up a copy of this book today.

For Fontaine Spencer, anonymity is the key. Her job demands it. She works for Next Stop, a travel magazine that helps people find the best restaurants, hotels, and entertainment hot spots around the globe. Fonatine's job is to check out each and every one of these establishments, incognito, to find out how they rate. The only problem is, during her last trip to Dallas every place she visited seemed to know she was coming. Now she's supposed to head off to Atlanta for another round of undercover work, but she's afraid that she's about to be spotted once again. Her answer to the problem is to coerce her sister, Callie, to take her place. Despondent over a two-timing underwear model she divorced, Callie seems in desperate need of some entertaining-and being partied around town by an escort provided by Mr. Complete seems the perfect solution.

Callie takes the job, albeit mostly unwillingly, and soon finds herself surrounded by a man who could have walked out of an issue of GQ. Dillon Love is a man on a mission. Pissed off at Next Stop for its unfavorable review of his nightclub, he's not too happy that Callie Spencer is to get a free escort from Mr. Complete during her three-week stay in Atlanta. The free services are in exchange for a full-page ad in the magazine, so Dillon knows it's necessary, but he still cringes over the remembered problems that the magazine's unfair review caused for him and his business. The only solution is to escort Callie around town himself-and not let on that he's Dillon Love, not Wyatt Love, Mr. Complete's true owner. The two brothers are identical twins, so Dillon's convinced he can carry off the deception.

The only problem is-you guessed it-that Dillon starts developing feelings for Callie, and Callie in turn seems to feel the same. Except for the fact that one day Dillon seems to be the man of her dreams, and the next he's so stand-offish she can barely stand him. That's because both Dillon and Wyatt are sharing escorting duties, and Dillon knows that if he has a chance with Callie, he's going to need to come clean about the old switcheroo.

COMPLETELY YOURS was a true joy to read. Laugh-out-loud funny with sex scenes to die for, you'll find the situations both sets of siblings find themselves in hilarious. A true winner, Ms. Smythe has written a book that's not to be missed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Completely Yours, May 6, 2005

When you take twin brothers who look like Dillon and Wyatt Love, you know you're in for trouble, unless you don't know that there are twins. When her escort from Mr. Complete shows up, Callie Spencer does not have a clue as to what lies ahead of her. Dillon sets her heart racing, but he's almost too much for her. So, realizing that, Dillon gets his identical twin to act as a dampening rod, going on a second date and cooling things down for him. From there, things only get more complicated. Dealing with lovers' spats among the escorts, hiding the truth from Callie, and trying to garner a favorable review for his nightclub, the Love Nest keeps Dillon hopping. When he gets so tangled in half truths that he inevitably trips, will Callie understand and love him still?

*** Zany humor builds from the initial gag, charming readers. The supporting cast provides many of the best lines. When you need a fluffy escape, this will fit the bill. ***

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so complete, August 10, 2005

One of the other reviewers hit it on the head. This is a fluffy read. The first 150 pages of this novel were good. Followed the plot of the outside of the book. But it "jumped the shark" when the main characters find orphans living in a dumpster. I lost it at that point and went into heavy skim mode.

If men in real life talked like the dialogue of these guys, we gals are in trouble. The silly situations were a real stretch. The only masculine thing exhibited was the sex scenes.

Too bad the story line missed the plot line. It would have been a better read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Completely Yours, October 30, 2006
This review is from: Completely Yours (Mass Market Paperback)
Before Kasidy Evans' estranged grandmother, Amelia Hancock, died she offered a reward to anyone who could find Kasidy. Kasidy must find the evidence that Amelia had against her father before someone else does, so she disguises herself and heads to the reading of the will to see what information she can get.

Wyatt Love works for an escort service called Mr. Complete. Amelia was one of his clients. Wyatt is shocked to discover that Amelia has left him her estate and her three wild poodles, Larry, Moe, and Curly. At the meeting, Kasidy immediately calms the dogs down. Wyatt is very attracted to Kasidy and he seizes the opportunity to get to know her by offering her a job staying at the estate watching over the dogs. Wyatt thinks he has stepped into one sweet deal. He gets to live in a mansion, and the girl of his dreams will be living with him, but suddenly he has a house full of unwanted guests including his twin brother Dillon. Dillon has big plans for getting Wyatt and Kasidy together.

There are wild dogs, crazy houseguests and lust heavy in the air in the mansion. Wyatt and Kasidy keep trying to get some privacy but their misunderstandings are keeping them apart.

Wyatt seduced me with his looks and charm but when he arranged the slumber party for Kasidy, I fell in love with him. Kasidy is innocence and toughness rolled in a pretty package. Kasidy's misinterpretation of what Wyatt does is hilarious, the secondary characters are all tons of fun and the storyline is witty and charming. Completely Irresistible is so much fun you won't be able to put it down!
