To figure out that Lavigne has crafted a perfect debut single.
I will forever remember it for it's cool video. I remember watching this video one time and I instantly became a Lavigne fan, though I was a pessimist and thought she was a one-hit wonder. Was I wrong though! If you look back since then to the impact Avril made on modern society the difference without her would be phenomenal! She was a trend-setter in every way and she provide stepping stones for heaps of female musicians today.
Don't dismiss her just sit back and take note of how much a talent she really is!

This was a great song of Avril's managment to chose to release as a first single. It kicks ass, and you get another taste of Avril's music with the funky in-yo-face! type song,- "I Don't Give" and the acoustic, bit soppy "Why".
This single contains great material, and is essential for any major fan.

Man I saw this video and was an instant fan, I first heard 'I Don't Give' at a concert in Dallas (May 4th, 2003) and it was awesome. I uploaded the song from a friend's CD but i lost the song when my computer crashed (i wish i still had it though). i got the song 'Why' from her My World DVD and i got the song complicated from her CD 'let go' but all in one!!! BUY THIS CD!!!

Avril Lavigne is so awesome!!!!Anything that has something good to do with Avril, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

I'm a HUGE fan of Avril Lavigne and I absolutely love her CD "Let Go" so I bought the single to see what her other non-LP tracks were like. I'm really impressed. "Why" has more of a Michelle Branch or Vanessa Carlton type sound, but anyone will like it. "I Don't Give" has a real rock feel and both the songs are honest and different. I suggest that if you like Avril or any rock/pop sound, you should get this single - it is so worth it!

Avril Lavigne burst onto the scene with her summer smash Complicated which reached 2 on the billboard charts. It is an excellent song! The 2 other songs featured on this single are great! Don't Give is one of my favorites. I dunno why it wasnt on Let Go. It could be released as a single. Why is all acoustic it is more like Michelle Branch. For anyone who likes pop or rock check out Avril. Buy her album Let Go and this single!!

Well. It'll be tough...

When I first heard her sing I thought she had a good voice. She generally is a good artist. But I don't understand why she has such a negative music video for complicated. It bugs me that she says being preppy is putting on act or that rappers wear all their fake jewlery. She should really look at herself because there are plenty of girls out there who have a similar taste in clothes. It's wrong to make fun of those people, even skaters sometimes put on things that Avril makes fun of in her video. the can be "complicated" too. That's one of the primary reasons avril gets a 3 from moi. peace

I dont have the CD, but Complicated, I don't give, and why are all great. why is one i reccomend- her best song yet
