I highly recommend this component cable to improve the graphics/picture quality for a wii, especially if you are using a widescreen (16x9) HDTV. In my opinion, the difference in picture quality between the composite cable supplied with the wii versus this component cable was like watching a VHS movie (using the Nintendo composite cable) versus watching a DVD movie (using this component cable). If you're looking to improve the graphics of your wii on a widescreen tv, buy one of these cables with confidence.

Neither the sales advertisement nor the packaging the component cable was shipped in indicated the cable length. I estimate the component cable to be approximatley 6' in length.

Used it to connect my WII to my 46" LCD TV and it worked great. Tight connections even when swiveling my TV. Great price great picture and sound!

I did notice a significant difference between the component cable and the one that came with the Wii. I have a 46" LCD though so the Wii looks crappy compared to any of the hi-def gaming systems. That being said, it still looks better than it originally did. Hopefully they will some day be able to get it to convert to a higher resolution (at least 720) but probably not till they release a new generation of consoles.

This is one of the cheapest Wii Component Cables on the market. On the contrary to what you might think, the quality of this cable is extremely good. I have been using this for months without any degradation or problems whatsoever. Very highly recommended.

It's a cable. There are only two questions. (1) Is the price good? --> Yes, paid less than $10 including shipping. (2) Does it work? --> Yes, the picture is a bit better than with the standard cables.

This cable works the way it supposed to. Since I don't have Netflix on the Wii, I can't really tell if the quality improved that much, but it's definitely better.

One thing to keep your eyes on is that the connectors are not named. Because there is a red connector for both audio and video, you need to pay attention to which one is which. The easiest way for me to figure out which connector goes where is by looking at the back of my TV, they receptacles should be in the same order as the connectors as ordered by the cable. You can also tell by the color of the mid section of the connectors - gray for audio if I remember correctly.

So it's cheap and does what it supposed to do, it does feels a bit flimsy due to the light weight, but it works just fine for me.

I bought this cable because the cable that came with my Wii was built for an AV connection and my TV doesn't have AV ports. When did they start building TV's without the old AV ports?. I needed component or HDMI so this cable was just what I needed. I wasn't expecting much for $6.18 to the door (free shipping) but I got a pleasant surprise to receive a pretty good cable. It's not something I'll be plugging in and unplugging all the time but my guess is that this cable could easily stand up to being moved around between TV's frequently if you have the need. The connectors and all solid and fit snugly. Picture quality is excellent, what I'd expect from a component connection. My neighbor did tell me my picture was much sharper than theirs but I'm not sure if it's because I'm using a component input and they use AV or if it's just that I have a better TV.

Before I bought my big screen TV, I was playing on an old 27" CRT TV. From the couch about 10' away, I had a hard time telling a 6 from an 8 on games like PES 2009 and Madden '09 so I ordered this little guy. I had both of the cables plugged in to the TV and swapped back and forth to get an idea of the difference in picture quality. You really can tell quite a bit of difference with the component cables. It was much easier to read text after the swap. Now that I have my 46" widescreen flat panel, the picture is fantastic. You can see almost half the field at once on PES2009!

It doesn't matter what kind of TV you currently have, this is one of the best things you can do to enhance your play time with your Wii, and for the price, it's a no-brainer.

I used to have the official nintendo cable but lost it, so i decided not to spend another 35 for it and go cheap. First of all i must say i applaud the seller got this to me fast, thats about the only good thing. The cable feels sturdy but the shielding is terrible. It works fine on 480i setting of course, but once u go to 480p and anything other that the wii is hooked up to tv it will start to show horizontal lines of noise. I tried it on several tvs and same issue, and just imagine what u get when u hook it up to your receiver and u have 6 other things running through it (yes i tried terrible). So i threw this cable away and gave in letting nintendo win with their outrageously overpriced cable (that works), i didnt want to hassle with no name cables again more chance of getting a defective product.

It's a cable. It connects one piece of electronics to another. It seems to do so well. Now I shall move on with my life.
