5.0 out of 5 stars Great device, June 7, 2010

Used the selector purely for its ability to choose which toslink optical connection to use on my Logitech Z-5500 speakers (which only has one input). Looks great and is way better than my TV's output, which only replicates the HDMI audio signal to a 2.1 output. This selector passes through the original signal which is great for surround sound on Blu Ray, Xbox 360, cable tv, etc. You can also turn this unit off, which is a plus, as others I've seen stay on all the time.

I bought this because my cheep A/B/C switch box broke - This is a great unit - my TV set up is unique for it has HD TV is really an HD Computer Monitor with no tuner so my Tuner, DVD, and Cable Box - all running component video - so this fits the bill and works great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Component Switch Box!, December 28, 2010
By
This review is from: Component Selector w/Remote and Digital Optical 3-In 1-Out (Electronics)
This component video switch box is perfect! It does exactly what I needed it to do. I have my dvd player hooked up, and because of the Triple Universal Component Cable for the Wii, Playstation and Xbox 360, I have an extra input for something else besides video game systems. In reviews I have seen about other component switch boxes, I have read about people saying when playing video games with high pitch noises or explosions would make the screen go blank or pause, I have not experienced any of these things with this box. It also has the TOSLINK digital audio inputs and outputs, which I haven't used but, if sometime in future I decide to use it, I'll have the option. The remote is nice and little, and switching between inputs is a breeze. It also has a button to turn off the component box, which I haven't seen with other component boxes here on Amazon. Overall I love this component box, and I recommend it to everyone!
