I also was listening to NPR this morning and when I heard "The Waltz goes on" I was so impressed with it's loveliness
that I had to remain in the car to see who was being interviewed. One of those NPR drive-way moments! Sir Anthony is certainly a multi-talented actor.

I heard the interview on NPR this morning and am VERY impressed. What a talented man. He was initially interested in music before acting and has combined the two in some of his films.

I was absolutely blown away by the 1st song they played during this morning's NPR interview: The Plaza It was like Big Band on speed! I didn't hear the other Waltz number. Would've been a "driveway moment" but I had an appt. Bravo, Sir Anthony

I love the music, especially the Waltz !
What a great surprise it was to learn that Anthony Hopkins is a classical composer.
Enjoy Anthony's music while you're enjoying a nice Chianti, some fava beans, and ....whatever else sounds good to you.
(Sorry - I couldn't resist)

I think this would be a great gift for the classical music lover that you might think has everything.
It's possible they don't know about this...
If they already have a copy, request that they give it to someone who doesn't have it.

Anthony Hopkins has great friends in all the great places -- including composers who will take his melodies and tinkerings and turn them in to symphonies. Lush, interesting, and enjoyable. Bought it as a result of hearing the music on an NPR interview. I mean, Who KNEW! Like learning Caroll O'Connor studied opera...and so did wife on Archie Bunker program, Edith. RiP, both...amazing folks.

I was astounded to hear the maturity of this album. Mr. Hopkins shows us that his genius is not only for acting!

I heard this recording this morning on NPR.
I had to stop the car as I could not believe this was composed by Sir Anthony Hopkins.
The music is absolutely beautiful.
Too bad that the album is not available in the US. Could not find it in iTunes either.
Might have to ask a friend to buy it for me in Europe.
Can't wait to get it.
