Really upset, It's not one of those books you can open anywhere.
Leslie
I really did not care for this grammar book, especially after having used one that was more in depth and yet clear.
Srp
If you are an advanced spanish learner then this book would be great for you.

This is a really helpful book. If you are a spanish beginner i wouldn't recommend it due to its advanced spanish content. If you are an advanced spanish learner then this book would be great for you.

For educators; I would not recommend this book for use in any course other than an advanced composition course (400 level or whatever is the highest undergraduate level at your school). This book does NOT provide the backbone for an informative and enjoyable course in intermediate "transitional" courses (200 or 300 level at many schools) in which students are trying to become fluent and trying to bridge into the more advanced electives and survey courses. They will find it frustrating, and so will you. And the price, particularly if you have them purchase both the textbook and the workbook, is unreasonable. In my experience, this combination spelled disaster for my teaching evaluations.

If anyone is worried about buying from Amazon's Warehouse deals-- don't be. I bought this book used a few days ago and got free 2-day shipping with Amazon Prime. When the book arrived, it was in such good condition that I honestly couldn't remember if I had bought it new or used. If this is their definition of "good" condition, I'd love to see their "perfect"!

On to the book: I bought this book for my Spanish class this autumn semester at NCSU. Except for a brief introduction and a Spanish to English glossary in the back, the book is entirely in Spanish (including the appendices). It seems like an excellent book for intermediate to advanced Spanish students who are looking to improve their reading comprehension and writing skills. The prompts in later chapters involve forming opinions rather than just spouting facts, so if you are not very comfortable with Spanish grammar/vocabulary, this probably isn't a very good place to start unless you want a real challenge.

The book itself is pretty good. However, its not concise with its text, as in it doesn't get straight to the point. Not my cup of tea.
I purchased it on kindle and I have the kindle application on my laptop. However, my laptop is heavy. I downloaded the app on my iphone and on my ipad and it doesn't want to open the book on these devices. Really upset, It's not one of those books you can open anywhere. Now I have to carry my laptop to school, and I suffer from neck problems.

I never know what to write about text books because I don't usually "like" the product, but it did its job. I rented the book on my kindle and it was great - and cheap!

The book was still what i needed yet the description online is not what matches the book that I got. Honesty is key in these kinds of deals and this seller didn't manage that well. More than that my book arrived more than 10 days after the latest promised date which was a 2 week window!!!! Sadly not what I had hoped

Used this book in a college level Spanish class. It served me very well, not just for my Spanish compositions, but for improving the overall quality of both my Spanish and English papers. Would recommend for any introductory Spanish Composition course.

a lot of the book is highlighted and has penciled in answers because it was used. i don't really understand the structure of the textbook, but i had to buy it for my class so that doesn't really matter.
