5.0 out of 5 stars WORKS with 120gb iPod Classic
I can't say whether or not this works with the iPhone or iTouch because I don't own any of those but I can say that it DOES work wonderfully with the latest 120gb iPod Classic. If you're looking for something to connect your iPod Classic to your TV for watching videos, this is a great (and cheap) alternative to the $50 one that Apple sells.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work with iPhone 3G and Newest Nano
I purchased this, doesn't work - now seeking my money back. It is deal with its capability to charge via USB.

However, I can't get it to work with iPhone 3G and V2.2.1 of firmware. I've enabled TV OUT and NTSC, and no such luck. Only thing I'm getting is RED AV OUT for sound - not even getting white AV sound out. Forget about video - I've tried this on two...

Stay away.

After plugging the cord into the iPhone and the TV, the phone gave me this message: "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone".

I have a 1G Touch with 3.1.3 and this worked on the first try with out any changes. It also works on our 3G nano with 1.1.3

However we have a 3G touch with 3.1.2 and all that passes through is the audio. (I was pretty sure going in the cable wouldn't work on this one.)

These cables are cheap because they only work on older iPods. Do your research, find out if your iPod requires Apple's authorization chip in it's accessories. If not you're in luck, you just found one of the best deals around. I just got these, but they seem to be made well enough. The plug fits firmly in the iPod and I didn't have any problem getting the RCA jacks on or off. (read about apples $50 cables)

I purchased this hoping for a different result, but like other reviewers, I could not get it to work with my iPhone 3g (with up-to-date software).

This does not work with the iPhone 3G. I bought it expecting that it would, and I got it, and it said "This accessory is not made for Iphone" If you have an iPhone, do not buy this!

Well, obviously (from the other reviews) this doesn't work with the iPhone. I wouldn't know. It probably also doesn't work with the iPod Touch. Again, I wouldn't know. It does, however, work brilliantly with the iPod Classic 80GB. I use it almost every day while exercising to watch downloaded videos on a TV. No, it doesn't charge the iPod, but I wouldn't expect it to since the cable is only a signal pass-through. Don't pay Apple's ridiculous monopoly prices for things like this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap cable - but works fine, August 30, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

Seems to work just fine with an Ipod classic 160g. Can't beat the price. Picture quality of videos isn't exactly HD - but I'm sure that's the compression software I use, and probably not the cable.
