The seller's description says that the cable works with all sorts of Ipods, including the Itouch. The reality is that it does not work with my Ipod touch (3rd gen). This cable is not supported. I should have read the reviews before buying the cable. The cable works just fine with older Ipods with video, but the resolution is not so great (not even close to regular TV quality). I hope this helps.

I needed an av cord for my ipod that could charge while it played, and this seemed like a solution. It is and it isn't. First of all, when I got it, the plugs were all switched around. The video plug had the red audio plug band around it, and the other two were mixed up the same way. Luckily they're easily screwed off and replaced.

Then, I end up having to fight with my ipod for a good half an hour to get it to recognize the cord is in there. None of my other cords give me problems, just this one. My IPod won't recognize it unless I go through a volley of unplugging and replugging and turning off and on, until it finally works.

Lastly, the usb cord attatched to it isn't nearly long enough to do any good as a charger. Luckily, usb extension cords aren't too expensive, but still, it seems a little silly.

Anyway, to make a long review short, if you're looking for the same thing I was, something so you can watch stuff from your ipod on your tv while charging it, get a different cord. This one isn't worth the price or the effort.

I was able to use this with my 160gig iPod classic but my iPhone and iPhone 3G both said it was not supported and would not give me a picture. I don't know how much I can complain being that they only cost a few bucks but at least let people know it's false advertising

This does not work with iPhone 3GS or iPod 1G running OS 3.1.2!

Both devices say that the "device is not supported", and the video output gets shut down after 5 or 10 seconds of successful play.

Fails when connected to either the big screen in the house, or to our portable DVD player in AV in mode.

This product ordered twice for my iphone, both times didn't work I tried to call technical support but they had live person left my phone number the technical never responded Beware product No good I tried to hook up on my TV but it froze up my iphone.

This particular item did,t not work with the iTouch 16 GIG or the 64 GIG, the audio works fine but video does not work at all keep getting error messages " not compaarable with item" somthing to that effect

I just purchased the cable for a Christmas gift of a 2nd Gen. iPod Touch and it doesn't work. We got a 'fuzzy' black and white image for a second and then it said it isn't compatible. I wouldn't recommend it, even based on other reviews, if you're trying it with the iPod Touch. Hope that helps in your decision making!

Title says it all: it didn't work period. I just kept getting the "TV out enabled, please connect video accessory" screen.

I tried all sorts of configurations - switching the audio and video positions. no luck.

So the cable was a waste of my money, and i still can't view those podcasts on my TV.

This item does not work with iPod Touch as it suggests. I do not recommend buying it for use with iPod Touch.

I purchased this cable with the intent of watching netflix on the TV sitting on my desk at work. According to the item description, I should have been able to do so with my 3rd Gen iPod touch...that is not the case.

Upon connection I am met with the message: "This accessory is not supported by iPod touch." The USB and audio seem to function just fine, and I will probably keep the cable for use in the car, but it is not what I was expecting to recieve.

Additionally, I opened up the connector to examine it and discovered that the build quality is sub-standard...typical of Chinese junk. I really wish I had read the reviews before purchasing :(
