This review is from: A Comprehensive Guide for Parenting the ADHD Child (Paperback)
Superb book. This is the bible of ADHD books. I have 4 kids, 2 with ADHD (1 is an extremely serious case). Having 4 kids is tough enough (considering I am a single father with full custody and no contact with the 2 mothers), but lay that on top of the fact that I have 2 kids with ADHD, and there were times I thought of giving up. I have tried doctors, group sessions, special schooling, home videos, but nothing has worked. This book has a very sensible model for dealing with what sometimes seems like an impossible task, AND it is simple to execute. The process or methods are not life-altering, just smart, sensible habits that have enabled me to manage what previously seemed like a mis-managable situation.
