The book has given an apocryphal story of Orissa. This is not history. An extremely poor researched book about a state with rampant racism and human rights violations. Besides this is a state whose denizens have always been in vortexes of deep-seated inferiority complexes and jealousies stemming from its highbrow cultural neighbor namely the illustrious state of West Bengal. This book is a travesty of truth and should be consigned to the incinerator. A vapid book about a Lilliputtian state with miniscule achievements. The author's command over the Queen's language has the dubious distinction of being plebeian.
