I have really enjoyed learning from this book. It has laid things out in a most learnable manner. I'm not saying the information was easy, but I learned more than with other books and I found the information fascinating and the CD that comes with it is very helpful in preparing for tests.

If you want to pass your Medical Terminology class this is the book to help you do just that. This book contains ALL the information,diagrams and explanations of terms that you will need. This was a purchase that paid off in a high gpa.

This is a huge, in-depth book. I originally got it for a medical transcription course, but I find that I refer to it quite often for my anatomy & physiology classes. There are tons of full-color pictures, lists of abbreviations. The first 4 chapters are general terminology, which is very helpful, which is followed by 20 chapters on different systems of the body and fields of practice. I love this book and will use it throughout my nursing schooling, and probably even past that.

There seems to be a mix up within amazon catalog. I purchased this CD-rom and I purchased the book as well. Both items have the SAME ISBN AND UPC. I tried to leave a review of the book and it brings me to the CD-ROM and when I go to leave a reveiw for the CD-ROM it brings me to the book. The book comes with a disk but its no where and well put together as the CD-rom. The CD-ROM comes in a clam shell case like a DVD would. Its got its own paper slip and insert ? Two clearly different items. ..... REVIEW OF THE CD-ROM, The CD-rom which I paid $260.95 from Amazon is a great visual aid that really helped in preping for tests, Easy to use menu and easy to quickly find what I was looking for. The book is not as helpful and to tell you the truth we rarely used it in class. The DVD-ROM CD-ROm could be put in my laptop any time during class so I could see better what the teacher was talking about. Cant do that with a book, I loved this CD-ROm or DVD what ever its called. I am keeping this and trading the book and the disc that comes in the back of that book. This is by far one of the best CD-ROM's I have ever owned for class work !

Review questions torn out from chapters one and two. This was a problem for me since these questions were given to me as assignments in the online Medical Terminology class I am taking. I borrowed a friend's textbook to copy these questions. A bit of a hassle since we live in different cities and only meet two days a week in our other classes. So, other than receiving an incomplete textbook that made no mention of the missing pages, the purchase was satisfactory.

I appreciate everything about this order. It was prompt, the book actually was brand new, and I like the price.

The book is great, but the access code doesn't work. It is required to do my online class, very frustrating.

I ordered this book and then had to drop the class for one in which I was required to take this semester.
I hopefully will be using the book next semester.
