I really enjoyed this book in preparation for CNOR. Highly recommending the content and abundance of review questions for excellent practice before taking the test. If you look for the right book for the purpose I think you just found one, do not look no more. All other books I used as reference, this one I used the most and I passed the exam for the very first time.

This book is by far the best comprehensive review of OR Nursing I have encountered. It makes the principles of OR Nursing relevant in all aspects and specialties of the OR. The authors' concise and insightful dissection of OR Nursing makes this book relevant anywhere surgery is practised, or supported. The review questions after each chapter; with answers and the rationale for these answers makes it the perfect tool for the CNOR exam review. I used this for my CNOR exam review, and it is still a principal reference in my daily OR Nursing practice. My copy is falling apart from loans to over 20 successful CNOR candidates over the past 15 years. The only reason for not giving this book 5 stars is the fact that this is a 1993 publication. I am hoping for an update to this wonderful book in the near future (pleeeaasseeee!), and hope the 4 stars will be an incentive for the author to update this wonderful book. Thank you Susan Fairchild.
