Amazing review guide. Book,CD with mock exams, and 7 hours of audio which include domains and subdomains of the RHIT/RHIA course. If you need a straight forward review book with practice exercises and moc exams, then buy this book. I listen to the audio at work and home whenever I don't have time to read the book. This is another excellent review book to study for the RHIT/RHIA exams. The book covers the HIM topics then test you on it, and you will find the answers to the questions at the back of the book and on the CD. The CD that comes with the textbook has moc exams which helps you to remember what you read. The audio is worth the price and more. The CD that comes with the book and the audio are really wonderful study tools. Book is very easy to read and understand. You will surely get everything you missed in class here.

Please note that the audio will have to be downloaded from the publisher's website. If you have any problem doing this their customer service is willing to help you. Just don't expect much sophistication from the audio CD but the details on the audio CD are clear and indepth. It covers everything in my HIM textbook that I use for my RHIT class. The JB Review was not a required book for me, I only knew of it through one of my searches on Amazon and I am glad I bought it. If you do not wish to listen to the audio, then all the details on audio are in the review guide. In my opinion the audio is very soothing to listen to and at the same time very thorough. I am really happy that I purchased this book and I hope you will too.

Additional info dated 03/02/10 - Today, I installed the practice CD on a new computer I purchased a few days ago as I gave my daughter the older comp, and the software was searching for new updates to the practice CD, which none existed at the time of search. This is really amazing because I never had this experience with any other practice CD/s.....Hmmm strange but good:-) I hope I am not the only one experiencing this or could it be my imagination. The software did ask if I wanted to check for updates, and as you would expect...I selected YES:-)

The book was very helpful in preparing for the exam. I passed with room to spare. I used it in conjunction with another book in order to have a different perspective. There are a couple of mistakes in the book so the user should not doubt their knowlege - just double check the answers. Generally, very helpful.

I like this RHIT prep textbook alot. The only thing I complain is that the textbook doesn't give an explanation for the answers but the page number to the references, which is great if you have that reference. I bought this book along with the PRG RHIT 2009.

This product is great, but it does not allow you to download any MP3s. I called costumer service, and they told me the book was printed saying you could have mp3, but then the publishers and author denied the release of the mp3.

Sad really, no one in their right mind even knows of this book or even of the RHIA, RHIT field, aka as coding.

NO ONE WANTS TO CODE.

I was very disappointed and even bought a higher price book so that i could have the code. I do not have access to the interent to listen online as the publisher suggested. I hoped the code would provide me with mp3 downloads for studing. I could have bought a much more cheaper book on amazon.
